Checklist for Voting!

Here is a checklist to make sure your vote counts.

- Are you registered to vote at your current mailing address? - Are you mailing your ballot or voting in person? - When will you vote: Election Day (November 3rd) or early in person at your county’s auditor’s office? - OR: when will you mail your ballot so that it arrives before November 3rd? - Do you know how you will get to the polls? - OR: do you know where to send your ballot? - Have you researched your candidates and ballot initiatives?

To Register: Voter registration deadline is October 19th. This is in two weeks! Register to vote by filling out this form and submitting it to your county auditor:

To Receive an Absentee Ballot: Once you are registered, you can request an absentee ballot. You can find the request form here: You must include a copy of your ID OR your notarized signature. Once the request is processed, the absentee ballot will be sent to your mailing address. The County Election Official must receive your completed ballot by the end of polling November 3rd. If you mail in your absentee ballot you can see if/when it is received here:

To Vote Early: You can also vote early in person at your county auditor’s office until Election Day! The hours of each auditor’s office are above.

Voting on Election Day: Election day (the final day) is November 3rd! You can find your polling place and hours of operation here:
